The USYCA is pleased to announce a partnership with the President's Council on Physical Fitness and Sports, as President's Challenge Advocates. This association underscores our desire to promote good health and an active lifestyle for American children, which we will do by bringing our great sport to over 100,000 American children in the next year.
Although there is some standing around, to play cricket you need to be fit and strong, and have good hand-eye coordination and ball-handling skills. Cricket involves sprinting between wickets and running to stop balls, as well as bowling and throwing. Health benefits include:
