On August 31, the Washington Warriors Cricket Club returned to Fairfax County (VA) schools, conducting two fifty-five minute sessions with eighty PE teachers at their annual inservice day. The teachers were shown videos of international cricket and participated in drills. Also, the game was explained, with baseball used for comparison. A question-and-answer period followed.

The Warriors also provided free tee shirts promoting cricket and distributed American Cricket Champ sets provided by USYCA.
