Physical Education teachers in St. Mary's County in Maryland gathered on September 21 for their first lessons in cricket and to receive USYCA American Cricket Champ sets for their schools. After being introduced to the history and rules of the game, the teachers played against each other, asking questions as the game progressed.
USYCA was invited to St. Mary's County by England native Dr. Andrew Roper, the county's Supervisor of Physical Education, Health Education, and Athletics.
