American Cricket Academy STL Makes An Impact At Missouri PE Convention

Received From American Cricket Academy Club St. Louis:

American Cricket Academy is VERY excited to share our most recent success with you. This past weekend we attended the MOAHPERD convention. This is the Missouri state PE convention. We were both exhibitors and presenters. There were over 600 educators and future educators in attendance. We were asked by more than 40 schools and 6 Universities from all across the state to come introduce cricket at their schools, to either their students, educators or future educators. We are even in discussion with a PE teacher in Kansas City that wants to help start another ACA academy in Kansas City! He was one of the many people that participated in our interactive presentation that we held at the convention. We actually had to tell people that we had to close our presentation because the next planned activity for that evening had already begun.

The next day was even more exciting when people were coming to our booth to say that we were the hot topic at dinner the night before. They were told that if they had not spoken to us yet to be sure to get by our booth. We ended up being the last exhibitors to pack up!

Today we had another school district call to make sure they have us scheduled before our calendar fills up! Needless to say we are on cloud nine! Our next mission is to raise funds. Our parents believe in our #growcricket philosophy, but we don't believe it should fall just on them. We know with the response we at American Cricket Academy are having in Missouri that with help, we can grow cricket more quickly than the 10 year goal we keep hearing. We are also hoping we can get more kits to take to these schools.

Thanks for all your help and support,
Sue Harris
Youth Coordinator and School Liaison
